Account Manager

 

DESCRIPTION

The Account Manager is responsible for assisting the assigned Account Executives on a variety of different tasks. This Account Manager position will primarily focus on learning all aspects of operational and strategic pharmacy benefit management while keeping track of deadlines and performance reviews unique to each client.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor progress to deadlines, implementation and successful execution of new clients
  • Act as primary day to day contact for assigned clients as designated by supervisor
  • Ensure appropriate and effective communication among team members, the client and their advisors, and the PBM
  • Provide support to the applicable Account Executives to resolve benefit escalated questions and service issues
  • Monitor and maintain internal and external reporting
  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of deliverables and outcomes
  • Assist in performing pharmacy audits and the development and presentation of contract compliance reports
  • Oversee annual reconciliation activities
  • Track annual performance guarantees
  • Special Projects as assigned
  • Assist the applicable Account Executives in managing quarterly client reviews, as well as benefit plan year and stop-loss renewals
  • Assist in overseeing the contracting process for new and renewing clients
  • Assist with internal meetings to ensure collaboration and attention to detail to meet expected timelines and quality standards
  • Maintain clinical and benefit documentation and administrative paperwork according to account expectation and program standards in tangent with applicable Account Executives
  • Retrieve, analyze, and communicate data relative to the pharmacy benefit
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Adhering to Confidio’s Information Security Management System as well as all other company policies

 

SALARY RANGE

$60,000 to $75,000

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3-5 years PBM experience preferred
  • Excellent computer skills are essential
  • Well-organized and responsible with strong attention to detail
  • Expert interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments and think critically
  • Highly competent problem solver
  • Independent critical thinking
