CONFIDIO Ranks No. 452 on the 2020 Inc. 5000 With Three-Year Revenue Growth of 1014.66%

Baltimore-based pharmacy benefits consulting firm ranks
among the top 500 fastest-growing companies in the United States.

TOWSON, Maryland – Inc. magazine today revealed that Confidio is number 452 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This is Confidio’s second consecutive year on the list. Confidio offers a suite of pharmacy benefits consulting, procurement and audit services aimed at significantly reducing pharmacy benefit costs and improving health outcomes for employee populations. Confidio also scored number 33 within the healthcare sector, number 11 in Maryland and number 5 in the Baltimore area.

“Companies that made the list, on average, have grown six-fold since 2016. During a stretch when the economy grew just 15 percent, that’s a result most businesses could only dream of.” said Scott Omelianuk, editor in chief, Inc. Media, in announcing Confidio’s ranking.

In reacting to the Inc. 5000 news, the firm’s co-founder Cory Easton said, “We are thrilled to be included on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row. This recognition is a true testament to how hard our employees work every day to make prescription drugs affordable for our clients and their commitment to optimizing health outcomes for employees and their dependents. We cannot be more grateful for our clients and valued vendor partners in helping us achieve this incredible milestone.”

Confidio’s co-founder Scott Vogel added, “Our growth is a testament to our team – who has continually over – delivered for our clients. Leveraging their experience and expertise, we have successfully used our analytics platform to drive actionable insights that resulted in significant savings for our clients and their members.”

To qualify for the Inc. 5000 List, companies were required to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent (not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies), as of December 31, 2019. The annual Inc. 5000 event honoring the companies on the list will be held virtually from October 23 to 27, 2020.
