Abraham comes to Confidio with over 19 years of combined experience in pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) operations, PBM consulting, and health plan pharmacy operations.
Before joining Confidio, Abraham was an Account Manager at IngenioRx where he supported IngenioRx’s first standalone client. He was responsible for day-to-day client service needs, reporting, issue resolution, and working with internal partners to execute client initiatives and opportunities to resolve operational challenges.
Prior to IngenioRx, Abraham was a PBM consultant for Milliman’s pharmacy practice. He was involved in multiple projects, including Part D data validation, PBM requests for proposals (RFP), PBM oversight audits, annual market checks, legislative impact analysis, PBM implementation support, PBM contract renewals, and PBM client support such as quarterly or annual plan reviews.
Abraham gained PBM operations experience after working for a regional PBM owned and operated by Albertsons Companies. He successfully managed the migration of the PBM’s book of business to a new pharmacy claims processor and pharmacy team relocation to Boise, Idaho, where he currently resides.
Abraham also brings health plan pharmacy operations experience from his role as pharmacy operations manager at Santa Clara Family Health Plan (SCFHP), in Santa Clara County, California. At SCFHP, Abraham managed the pharmacy prior authorization team, oversaw the PBM’s operations and adherence to contractual requirements, participated in state and federal regulatory audits.
Abraham is a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and received a bachelor’s degree in Business – Healthcare Management from Western Governors University.
